To start you need:

Instructions

  1. Apply Miracle Treatment Base Coat and wait 4-5 minutes
  2. Once dry to touch, apply your first layer of colour (thin layers are best!)
  3. Wait 5 mins, then apply your second coat of colour
  4. After 5 mins, apply Supersonic Top Coat
  5. Spend the next 10 minutes, sitting, resting and doing nothing, because you deserve these moments
  6. Done! Now you have beautiful nails and are ready to take on anything.

Why 12-free I hear you ask? The answer is simple. We strip out a lot of bad stuff. While no nail polish can ever be fully free of chemicals, our 12-free brand does not contain formaldehyde, toluene, DBP, camphor, formaldehyde resin, xylene, parabens, fragrances, phthalates, animal ingredients, ethyl tosylamide or triphenyl phosphate.

Key Ingredients

Hexanal

Kester Black’s patented hardening agent. A natural, plant-derived ingredient that works by strengthening the nail’s keratin cells, reducing the risk of breakage and splitting. It can help to smooth and hydrate nails, improve strength and flexibility, and promote healthy nail growth. So not only do you get glossy colour, but a nail-strengthening treatment at the same time.

Tocopherol

A powerful antioxidant that can help protect nails from free radicals and environmental damage. Vitamin E also moisturises, promoting a smooth and even nail surface while preventing nail splitting and peeling.

Althaea Officinalis Root Extract

Known for its soothing and moisturising properties, marshmallow root helps promote healthy and strong nails. It contains high levels of mucilage, a sticky, gel-like substance that forms a protective barrier to prevent breakages. Bonus: its anti-inflammatory properties help calm irritated and inflamed nails.

Persea Gratissima Oil

Avocado oil is rich in nutrients like vitamins A, D, and E, as well as minerals and essential fatty acids. Its moisturising and nourishing properties help hydrate and soothe nails, reducing inflammation while preventing them from becoming dry, brittle and prone to breakages. The high concentration of biotin in avocado oil is also known to promote healthy nail growth.

Lactobacillus/Soybean Ferment Extract

This starchy root vegetable has natural exfoliating properties that smooth and strengthen nails, while also promoting healthy nail growth. Additionally, it can help to prevent breakages and chipping, contributing to a long-lasting manicure.

Glycerin

A go-to ingredient in nail products due to its moisturising properties, this natural humectant draws in moisture and keeps it there. Think: hydrated, nourished and strong nails, minus dryness and cracking.

Perfect for the warmer weather!

Yuzu is a joyful shade that embodies the spring weather and makes me smile every time I look at my manicure. I love it for this time of year!

It's the same convenient tapered brush and richly pigmented formula that we expect from KB. Just a note that you can't cheat and will need two coats of this liquid lovely to ensure that your natural nail colour is properly covered.

Excellent polish!

Love this colour! It went on really smoothly and only needed two coats for complete coverage, despite being a pastel. Lasted really well too (though maybe partly because I wasn’t doing housework this week!).

Beautiful colour - just not my colour

Sadly doesn’t work well with my skin tone - a bit too pastel (I was hoping for a bright yellow). But the great quality of all Kester Blacks nail polishes! So sad I won’t be able to purchase them anymore (I live in NZ).
