Pro tip for choosing a colour

Application

  1. Wipe excess product from the applicator tip.
  2. Use the tip to outline your lips, following their natural shape.
  3. Fill in with the flat side of the applicator and let it dry.
  4. For a softer, sheer look, gently blur the edges with your finger while the product is still wet.

Removal

Key Ingredients

Tocopheryl Acetate

Vitamin E acts as a natural moisturiser, anti-aging agent, and protects the lips from environmental stressors. It can also improve the texture of the lips by making them softer, smoother, and reducing roughness.

Sodium Hyaluronate

The salt form of Hyaluronic Acid, it has skin-replenishing and hydrating benefits to tackle dryness and help keep skin soft. It works to replenish lost moisture and hold onto it, and can hold almost 1000 times its weight in water to leave skin hydrated and plump.

A humectant which helps to attract and retain moisture in the lips, to prevent dryness and chapping. Butylene Glycol also helps to improve the texture of lipstick, allowing easier to apply and providing a creamy and smooth finish.

A fatty acid ester used for its emollient and moisturising properties which softens and smooths lips while also providing a protective barrier against moisture loss.

HOW TO APPLY

Goes with everything

Love this colour, it literally goes with everything! I sometimes keep it in my bag by my front door so I can grab it and use it anytime I feel, no matter what I’m wearing. Stays on really well as well.

One of the best lip colours I've ever bought!

I'm usually rather sceptical of cosmetic companies claiming that their products have great colour whilst being gentle on skin and the environment, so when I saw the ad for Kester Black, I thought I might buy just one lip colour and give it a go. Wow. I was not disappointed!

Firstly, I've used many big brand cosmetic lipsticks, the ones that have a bold colour and usually included in GWP offers, which sadly irritated my skin, causing my lips to peel and make it both unsightly and itchy to deal with. This Kester Black lip colour not only has great coverage, I only need a little for it to cover my lips and give me a natural look. Best of all, I've not had a single irritation from it and there's a whopping 18M until expiry use out of it. I've been using it everyday for about a month now and love it. Am considering getting another one during the Black Friday sales so that I can wear a bolder colour at upcoming festivities.

Fabulous product

I thought I would try the Kester Black lips after looking for a good gloss/lipstick and not finding anything great. Well until I tried the Sweet Nothings. True to the colour shown and you can’t tell you have it on it’s so light.
